The paint on the Targa is new and okay for a car in this price range. Anyone who knows us and our descriptions knows at this point that we are exaggerating rather than understating and calling things by their names. This paintwork is not ripe for a museum, but completely sufficient for unrepentant use with an everyday classic. We are happy to provide detailed information on this if you are particularly interested in the nature of the paint surface. For the sake of completeness we also want to mention that we have very high demands in this regard and therefore mention points where at least 10 different perceptions with completely different demands can be expected from 10 different viewers. Everyone has different preferences, which are always perceived and reflected subjectively. So therefore – having a look and taking a picture yourself helps with our support and is always more productive than going into it in detail here.
But that's about it with the "shortcomings" that we deliberately mention first.

The car is "matching" in color, interior and drive train. In other words, it has its factory-fitted, currently fully revised engine, its factory gearbox and its factory paint scheme.
The technology as a whole is the immense plus point of this vehicle! It is amazing what a 2.2 T engine can do after a conscientious overhaul, and how great a correctly set 901 gearbox can be shifted. The driving pleasure with this Targa is terrific and does not make the driver believe in a lack of performance in any situation! The engine is set perfectly, has no problems whatsoever when starting and finally with the throttle response, in other words: the workshop carrying out the work mentioned knows their craft. There is a complete list of all the work that has been done, thus ensuring that there is no maintenance backlog on this Targa.
Brakes, clutch, electrics, targa roof (with a new cover) and all other things on the car work the way we all want them to. In addition, when you use the Targa, you get that cozy, warm feeling all by itself – with this car you don't have to worry about anything that needs to be exchanged, repaired or renewed that quickly.
The new owner can start into spring with a new TÜV / AU and a current inspection / inspection and have fun.
