The first delivery took place in the USA in 1970. In 2012, the 911 was imported back to Germany. In 2016, the previous owner and Porsche collector purchased the vehicle. The restoration was then commissioned. The sheet metal, paintwork and interior were largely renewed. The parts that could be preserved were refurbished, tested and reused. The engine alone was completely overhauled by a well-known engine builder for just under €19,000. All work on the vehicle was carried out to a very high quality standard. Documentation of the restoration is available. After the restoration, the penultimate and current owner has driven around 4,000 km. A run-in inspection has been carried out, subsequent sealing work on the engine and a complete gearbox overhaul round off the restoration work.
