The vehicle in detail

Garaged car. Only driven in spring to autumn.Two previous US owners, imported to the UK in 2016 by a Porsche dealer and then purchased by me in October 2016 and brought back to Germany. Porsche approved and given German H plates ( historical), only given to a vehicle under rigorous inspection with a N⁰ 2 ranking ( 1 being showroom condition and 5 restoration project ).

The documents state first registration 1 January 1981, however Porsche Germany indicate a date of 7 April 1981 for export to the US. The figures on the speedometer show mileage driven but the dial facia has been changed to kilometers. The mileage shown is not the total mileage driven, the speedometer was faulty and was replaced twice in the US by a Porsche dealer under warranty ( see enc. document ). Engine pressures all checked and correct. Two new brake calipers. Car runs and drives very well. New owner will have very few improvements to do. This car has an interesting provenance. The original owner sold the car in 1987 to Fred Opert Racing ( link to Wikipedia for a detailed history ), a one time racing driver and subsequently a racing team owner, whose drivers included Alan Prost and Keke Rosberg.
