The Porsche is in a silver metallic paint that has been painstakingly and professionally remade. The car was completely stripped of paint and then reapplied so that the paint layer thickness corresponds to the manufacturer's specifications. The elaborate painting work was documented photographically and can be viewed in the gallery. The headlights and bumpers were converted from the US to the EU look by the current owner. The Hella fog lights on the front bumper are only installed for visual purposes and have no function, so they can be removed again at any time.
The car stands on original classic Porsche chopping knife rims, which give the vehicle its typical appearance. The rims have a few light scratches on the paintwork, here we refer to the detailed pictures in the gallery. Summer tires are mounted on the rims, which, according to the owner, are a bit older and may need to be replaced. The brakes on the rear axle were renewed last year and therefore still have a lot of fodder. The Carrera lettering on the side is black and gives the Porsche a little more sportiness.
In the interior of the Porsche you will find a black / blue synthetic leather fabric combination. The seats and fittings show signs of wear consistent with age and are generally in good condition. The Porsche is equipped with air conditioning and a sunroof, but these are both inoperative. The antenna that has not yet been installed must still be connected for the radio.
Readings of the Porsche have driven 68,969 miles (approx. 110,995 kilometers), which can also be regarded as authentic and believable in terms of its condition and the rest of the conditions. The speedometer was plugged in after the conversion from miles to km / h but not installed, so it would have to be reconnected. Except for the speedometer, all the instruments in the interior work.
The Porsche has a 3.0 SC engine, which sends the 180PS to the rear axle via a 5-speed gearbox. The car got an extensive overhaul with an oil change last year. You can see the engine running from the videos, which were added at the end of the ad. The hood dampers at the front have been renewed, the rear ones might have to be renewed. The owner recommends renewing them. The engine of the Porsche 911 SC has the same 3-liter displacement as its predecessor, the 911 Carrera, but with a 10 percent reduction in power and slightly increased torque. The SC develops 180 hp at 5500 rpm and reaches a top speed of 225 km / h. This means that the SC accelerates from 0 to 100 in just seven seconds.
Unfortunately, the Porsche does not have a checkbook, but there are extensive documents on the restoration work on the car. The extensive painting work is shown in detail in the gallery. This picture shows the paintwork of the Porsche, freshly after the painting work
