CONDITION REPORT:

• Mechanically, the car starts easily, without smoke, and runs very strong.  The engine sounds great paired with the new exhaust system and revs quickly & freely.   The car pulls strong in all gears with plenty of power without anomalies.  The clutch feels like new with perfect engagement.  The transmission is good if you know how to drive a 915, best to be delicate and deliberate when cold, and feels nice and smooth when warm with a great mechanical feel.  The car is tight and without irritating squeaks or rattles. The suspension and alignment feel excellent.  The car is reliable and ready to be driven any distance.
• Cosmetically, the car is believed to be repainted in the late ‘90s, single stage paint, presents like original but in very nice condition.  Paint readings generally consistent with original paint across most panels.   The original Fuchs restored and in excellent condition, tires with less than 1,000 miles.  The decklid is seemingly repainted with minor colour variance in certain lighting.   Minor chips/dings/wear/tear throughout the car consistent with age, small touch ups here and there, nothing dramatic, unusual, or worth addressing at this time.  Weatherstripping around passenger quarter window beginning to crack from age.  Sunroof headliner section beginning to droop slightly.   Overall, the car presents far above average for its age and mileage – with a great hint of 70s patina.
