A good SC in Oakgreen is a real eye-catcher. But with the right ingredients, it becomes a real treat. Based on the RS or RSR of the time, the coupé has the ducktail along with a turbo front spoiler. The engine of the 3.0 SC (930/03) was converted into an rRS engine with 283 hp using a dual ignition system, mechanical fuel injection, “MFI” throttle valve system, 930 engine cooling system and Tutthill catch tank. By the way, this is absolutely dry. A sports clutch was also installed and the transmission (915/61) was modified. A K&W sports suspension and harder suspension rubbers ensure the best road holding. The coupé sits on original Fuchs rims with Yokohama tires. A brake system from the Carrera 3.2 with steel braided brake lines ensures the correct deceleration. In the interior, Recaro full bucket seats ensure that the driver and front passenger stay where they belong during fast corners. All in all, a very harmonious and fun package. A Classic valuation report certifies a grade of 2+ with a value of €140,000.
If you are looking for a slightly different G model, take a look at this “Carrera RS”. Unfortunately, there are no originals on offer at the moment and they cost millions anyway. It is available for inspection in my hall in Hamburg and, weather permitting, for a test drive by appointment. That would be something…
I am looking forward to your visit.
Best regards
Ingo Wetzel
