The “gray metallic” – that's the name given to the 911 – looks simple and elegant. The huge rear wing, which cites that of the Turbo, ensures an additional sporty appearance. A repainting has already been carried out: the paint appears to have no scratches, dents or flakes. According to the current owner, a small front damage (probably caused when parking) was repaired, which is now hardly recognizable. Fog lights can also be seen on the front, which also ensure more precise illumination of the road when driving at night; the all-round lighting is fault-free and intact.
In good condition, Cinturato P1 tires with sufficient tread from the Pirelli brand are mounted on classically beautiful and well-preserved Porsche Fuchs rims. Unfortunately, the hub caps are missing on the Fuchs rims, the rims themselves are in a clean condition. The chassis and the brakes have not been modified, these components are in their original condition, no damage can be seen in these areas.
Black full leather sports seats with integrated headrests can be seen in the interior of the 911 S. These are in perfect condition. The carpeting in the interior shows no stains or cracks, the door panels are not worn or used up and the dashboard is in a crack-free condition: In the interior, even on closer inspection, no complaints can be made. A fully functional and tight sliding roof is also available as an equipment feature, as are crank windows, which will probably never be defective and therefore always work. There is also nothing to complain about in the area of the three-spoke sports steering wheel, which is in an unused state of preservation.
A total mileage of 16,614 mi (the equivalent of around 26,738 km) can be found on the speedometer, receipts or evidence are no longer available for the purpose of tracking the mileage, and a checkbook can no longer be found. However, this Porsche is solid in its basic substance and has no known defects, which could certainly occur at this age.
The engine compartment of the 911 is in good shape: the six-cylinder boxer engine produces 175 hp from a displacement of 2.7 liters; According to the current owner, a service is not yet necessary in the near future, there are no pending repairs to be carried out.
The underbody of the Porsche 911 S was sealed with plenty of wax: minimal signs of corrosion caused by age can be seen, welds and improperly carried out repairs cannot be made out.
