The vehicle is apparently accident-free and rust-free. In addition, the paintwork was renewed a long time ago in the USA in the original silver green diamond metallic (color code 266).

This 911 S rolls on its original, contemporary Fuchs rims. Brakes and chassis correspond to the standard equipment.
The interior is completely original. Even the first radio is still installed and working. This Porsche 911S impresses with its extensive equipment:

The mileage can be read around 121 150 miles, i.e. approx. 194,000 km, the maintenance booklet that documents the maintenance and service is not available. The very beautiful original condition of the vehicle makes this 911 stand out from the crowd. Obviously nothing has been changed or modified on the vehicle, the Porsche is 98% complete. The “Red Book” confirms “Matching Numbers”.
This Porsche 911 S is equipped with the tried and tested 2.7 liter 6-cylinder boxer engine. A fully synchronized 5-speed manual transmission serves as the transmission. So far, the coupé has been moved with a red number. The air-cooled boxer engine with 165 hp offers the typical driving experience of the early 911s. The engine hangs well on the gas. The transmission shifts cleanly through all gears. The studs were replaced approximately 10,000 miles ago. The invoice for this is available. Further invoices are available as far back as 2007. Even if the exact number of previous owners can no longer be traced, it quickly becomes clear that there were neither hobbyists nor racing drivers among them. Instead, knowledgeable previous owners had some contemporary technical improvements carried out to further improve the everyday usability of the Porsche. These are optimizations that were made on many 911s up to the end of the 80s:
- The Porsche was equipped with an HKZ system (high-voltage capacitor ignition) in order to obtain a more powerful ignition spark.
- The engine was delivered from the factory with a fan wheel with only 5 blades. In order to improve the cooling of the motor, a fan wheel with eleven blades was installed later.
- The conversion to hydraulic chain tensioners has also already taken place.
The underbody is in good condition and apparently free of rust. Everything else can be seen very well from the picture documentation, which again shows the sub-floor in detail.
The last owner took the 911 from the USA in 2017 due to its excellent substance and originality. The plan was to equip the Porsche for German registration, to drive it and at the same time gradually manufacture a top vehicle. The tank and fuel pump have been renewed and the fuel system has been cleaned. A new battery was also installed. The Porsche was occasionally moved with a red number. Due to a lack of time, however, no further work was carried out to obtain a TÜV approval and approval. The customs clearance certificate for registration in Germany is available. All taxes are paid. As soon as the conversion to EU version has been carried out and the TÜV approval has been carried out, approval is possible without any problems. After approval, the Porsche can be driven and, if desired, can be continuously improved over time.
