Successful participant of the 2021 Tejas Turismo, Texas Hill Country Rally
Between 2003-2010 this 911S would receive a significant amount of service and detailing commissioned by its long-term previous owner, this included: New exhaust valve covers, oil sump gasket, valve cover gasket, chain tensioner, air filter, fuel filter insert, cv joint boot, oil presser adapter, engine gaskets, o-rings and seals, rotors and brakes serviced, rebuild of the mechanical fuel injection, glass out/trim off repaint in the original color new exterior rubbers and seals. The extensive work is recorded in a history file that includes records back to 1980.
In the spring of 2019, further detailing and services were performed, including: new Michelin 185/70 VR15 XWX Tires mounted to 1973 date-stamped deep-dish 15 Fuchs wheels, inspection and tune-up; oil sump plate, hot air tube, breather hose, speaker plug set, oil/filter, hood struts, new torsion cover plates, rear sway bar brackets, steering pan seal, front steering pan cover, paint correction, steam cleaning of underside and engine compartment. A compression test was also performed resulting in 130-135PSI per cylinder all around.
In September of 2021 the Porsche would receive an entirely new air conditioning system with modern type compressor, while retaining its period control unit and vents. Over $8,00 invested. As well as period style grill mounted fog lamps. A Winter 2021 inspection and scheduled service was performed to insure further excellent drivability. This was further demonstrated by its successful completion of the 2021 Tejas Turismo, Texas Hill Country Rally. Prior to the Rally, 9113301150 would also receive a Porsche Classic Technical inspection – performed by Porsche North Houston (Texas’ only Porsche Classic Partner).
Largely unrestored and thoughtfully preserved from years of careful stewardship, this 911 displays a solid body with superb lines, original Securit glass all around, and five original 1973 date coded wheels.
Equipped with the desired 2.4-liter flat-six “Super” engine, this outstanding purpose-built Porsche exudes a very honest character with a great documented history. Here is an excellent opportunity to acquire a highly incomparable last-year ur-911.
