Porsche 911 S

Porsche 911 S

Coupé, 1970

Highlights

  • Same ownership since 2000
  • Sports suspension
  • Sports steering wheel

In 1970, Porsche increased the capacity of the successful 911 range to 2165cc. Specific to the S model was a re-profiled camshaft, larger valves, better porting, higher compression and larger jets for the Weber carburetors. The S version was now producing 180bhp and the model was well underway in establishing Porsche as a world leader in the production of sports cars and motorsport. From club racers to World Championships the 911 would become an integral part.

The 911S would be the basic underpinnings of the 911 2.7 RS a platform that would provide successes at the Targa Floria, Daytona, Sebring, and the Nurburgring all by the mid-Seventies. This car has been in the same ownership since 2000 and was loved ever since by its owner.
