Some customers just appreciated the look and chose the optional “M-Code: 491”. 491 is the factory option “Turbo-Look”, also called “WTL” (Werksturbolook). It happened that the WTLs were not converted as slantnose in the factory. The Porsche dealer ordered the original factory parts, like: the steel fenders, rear air intakes, and the Porsche dealer converted it to a slant nose before the delivery to the first owner.
That`s how it must have happened to this offered slantnose.
Watching all the slantnose parts, they are made of steel and not of plastic like all the after market parts that were used outside Porsche to convert a 911 into a slantnose.
Enjoy the walkaround video of this offered slantnose:
This offered slantnose shows a believable mileage of 35.000 miles and is technical in top condition. Driving it you feel that this is not a worn out Porsche and even the seats are still strong.
Watching the fitting of the fenders and the rear intake vents, you see they have been mounted in high factory standard and fit perfectly in the whole appearence of this 911. That leads even more to the conclusion that this slantnose had been converted before the first delivery.
The softop had been renewed in good quality, but is an after market part.
Looking at the good interieur condition it underlines the mileage of 35.000 miles.
The engine starts powerfull right up, runs as it should and the gearbox works directly precise.
Measuring the paintthicknes you see there had been done repaintings and the paint shows spots of usage.
Our all ovver impression comes to the end, that this 911 WTL is a well taken care example, excluding the discussion about a factory slantnose.
Take your chance to bid on this rare 911 WTL slantnose…
