The vehicle in detail

In the course of the reconstruction, the self-supporting sheet steel body of the accident-free Porsche was completely stripped using a waterjet paint stripping process. Damaged areas that were thus recognizable have been repaired accordingly. In addition, the Porsche came to the bench where the body work was carried out. As part of the rebuilding, a cage was welded into the body shell. In addition, the body has been optimized for rally operations and a so-called duck tail has been attached and additional headlights have been installed on the front hood. The entire vehicle was painted with a light blue uni paint, all add-on parts were also painted. Various brand and manufacturer stickers are attached to the surface lacquer. The paintwork is flawless and free of defects, there are no external defects.

Fuchs alloy wheels in perfect condition, together with Michelin tires that are in good condition, characterize the external appearance of the Porsche 911. As part of the rebuild, the chassis components were also renewed and all bearings were replaced. Bilstein dampers are now installed on the front and rear axles. In addition, hydraulic and perforated disc brakes were installed, which are supported by a pneumatic brake booster. According to the seller, the hydraulic force is generated via a tandem master brake cylinder. There is a locking differential with a locking effect of 40% on the rear axle.

Far-reaching modifications have also been made to the interior of the 911: Sports bucket seats from Sparco with sports safety belts from Sandtler can be recognized as well as a sports steering wheel from Momo. In addition, all door panels, cladding and carpets were no longer installed: Everything was trimmed for rally operations. The entire electrical system has been revised: all wiring harnesses and consumers have been replaced. The interior also houses additional instruments, including lap timers and gearshift systems. An OMP fire extinguishing system was also installed.

The dashboard is made of carbon, has been covered with Alcantara and shows an odometer reading of 5,174. When the Porsche 911 was rebuilt, the speedometer was also zeroed, a history of the work carried out is available, with which the previous condition of the Porsche can also be viewed. All instruments work perfectly.

Modification work also took place in the area of technology: the six-cylinder boxer engine with 3.0-liter displacement was bored out to 3.2-liter, a high-energy ignition system was used and stainless steel manifolds were used. A Friedrich Motorsport exhaust system also ensures good sound. According to the seller, the power is around 211 hp. The engine is now fed with petrol from a 100 liter tank. The 5-speed gearbox is still the original. There are no defects in the technology, a fresh service will still be done according to the seller.

Restoration work was also carried out on the underbody, which is now in perfect condition and has also been painted in the vehicle color. Documents on the built-in parts as well as a detailed list of all work can be viewed in the series of images.
