This 911SC has lived in arid California its entire life. The car came to its current owner in 2018 and was then completely overhauled and optimized over the course of 3 years with the aim of building a performance-enhanced Sport 911 suitable for everyday use.
The body was sanded down to the bare sheet metal and repainted in Porsche olive green (original color was platinum metallic). All screws, washers, seals are new. H-4 headlights were installed and sports bumpers were installed at the front and rear (originals available).
The interior is completely new with carpets, dashboard, headliner and handcrafted lightweight door panels with cranked windows. Recaro pole position sports seats with Schroth racing belts. All instruments restored and calibrated. Roll cage bolted to welded steel plates and removable.
The chassis is completely new with turbo tie rods. Brakes, brake lines and cylinders new. In the back Sanders 26mm torsion bars, new bilsetin dampers.
Restored original Fuchs rims in the classic Carrera RS size, 7 × 15 with 185/70/15 Avon tires in the front and 8 × 15 with 215/65/15 in the rear.
The engine is a 3.0l aluminum housing with flow-optimized 964 heads and camshafts. Fully electronic engine management, JE Mahle pistons with 9.8: 1 compression. Stainless steel heat exchanger and Dansk GT3 exhaust. The engine develops 252 hp at 6500 rpm and comes with a performance diagram from the test bench. Run less than 500 miles (800km)! The complete and correct original engine is part of the sales offer.
The original 915 gearbox has been revised with shortened shift travel and a 7:31 gear ratio. No differential lock.
