The inspected Porsche 911 3.0 SC has a self-supporting sheet steel body. In the course of the reconstruction, the used bodywork was stripped of paint using the water jet paint stripping process. Damaged areas were repaired accordingly. Furthermore, the body was placed on a straightening bench and the corresponding body work was carried out as listed. As part of the rebuild, a cage was also welded into the body shell. Furthermore, the body was optimized and expanded for the corresponding applications and a "ducktail" was mounted.
The vehicle has been completely painted, the color of the vehicle is blue. The paint type is Unilack. The paint finish is flawless. All add-on parts as well as the underbody and interior have also been painted. After the old paint was removed with the water jet paint stripping process, a primer was applied, which serves as an adhesion basis and protection against corrosion. Various brand/manufacturer logos were applied to the surface finish.
Suspension components were renewed as part of the restoration. Suspension dampers from the company "Bilstein" have been installed on the front and rear axles. Wishbones with torsion bar springs and damper elements are installed on the front axle. The rear axle consists of semi-trailing arms with torsion bar springs and damping elements. All bearings have been replaced. The entire braking system has been renewed. The vehicle has hydraulic disc brakes on the front and rear axles, which are supported by a pneumatic brake booster. The hydraulic power is generated by a tandem master brake cylinder.
The entire electrical system has been revised. All wiring harnesses and consumers have been replaced. In addition, a lamp tree was installed on the trunk hood. Additional instruments were installed in the interior, including laptimer and gearshift systems. A high-energy ignition system was installed on the engine.
Various modifications were made to the interior. Essentially, two sports bucket seats from "Sparco" with sports seat belts from "Sandtler" and a carbon dashboard are installed. The original steering wheel was replaced by a sports steering wheel from the company "Momo". All panels and carpets as well as the emergency bench that are not related to the purpose of the vehicle have not been installed. In addition, an extinguishing system was integrated into the interior and a roll cage was welded in.
