In 1974 Porsche introduced a significantly improved 911 with the so-called G-model as the successor to the first 911 the F-model. Engine power increased and roadholding and straight-line stability improved, and the beautifully integrated impact bumpers allowed light collisions damage-free.
The G-model proved such a successful design that it remained in production for as many as 15 years. This 911 3.0 Cabrio was delivered as a Targa new in the USA in 1978 and imported into the Netherlands in 2002 by previous owner. Which converted the car into a Convertible.
