Chassis/bodywork
- Totally restored based on rare rust free body imported from USA. All RSR modifications made correctly. No sheet metal parts have been replaced.
- 100% in accordance with FIA Appendix K and homologation form 3053.
- The body has been sanded down to bare metal and subsequently re-painted.
- New lightweight fiberglass parts mounted and upgraded to 3.0 RSR specifications: Hood, engine lid, front and rear bumpers, front and rear fender extensions.
- All mechanical undercarriage parts separated, cleaned, sandblasted and painted satin black or re-galvanized. All pipes, hoses and cable connections have been replaced. Only original Porsche parts are used.
- Bilstein RSR Coil Over suspension, 20/22 mm adjustable anti-roll bars fitted. 917 brake calipers fitted with new 30/28x304mm ventilated discs. Short RSR trailing arms. Visual conversion to 100 mm rear shock towers rear.
- Center lock hubs with 10,5×16″wheels in front, 14×16″ wheels in rear. Mounted with AVON radial slicks. Extra set of wheels for rain tires. All wheels manufacured as exact replica of 3.0 RSR wheel.
- Safety equipment: Sparco steering wheel, 6-point seat belts and circuit seat, fire-extinguisher, main switch and FIA approved Heigo roll cage. 5 mm Lexan windows in the doors, sides and rear.
Engine/transmission
- Motor completely rebuilt and upgraded to RSR specifications by former Kremer racing engine builder Bo Strandell from Sweden.
- Engine displacement of 2994 ccm.
- New titanium connecting rods, Mahle cylinders and JE high compression pistons. Cylinder heads machined with new valves, valve guides and seats and 43 mm porting.
- Original RSR rocker arms and original RSR camshafts with center lubrication.
- Replica RSR twin plug distributor. Bosch twin plug ignition system with new original ignition coils.
- RSR MFI injection pump renovated and converted to race specs at Bosch in Germany and 43mm slide valves. New fuel filter console, filter and fuel pump.
- 43 mm manifolds with special lightweight exhaust.
- Original RSR lightweight clutch.
- Center mounted oil cooler, large RSR oil tank with pressure relief valve.
- 915 transmission with “short shift” and limited slip differential. Renovated with close ratio gearing.
The engine delivers 330 HP and in combination with low weight, the car is very competitive and definitely the fastest car in Scandinavia for 1972-1976 historic racing class.
