The early 911 is an iconic car, of which the 2.7 RS is the most recognisable due to its aerodynamic ducktail. Due to its dynamic qualities and very limited production, the Porsche Carrera RS 2.7 has always been highly sought after. Today, this model is considered the most sought-after air-cooled 911.
Our Porsche 911 2.7 Carrera RS was delivered new in Italy in February 1973. Out of only 1580 produced, it is one of the early chassis numbers from the second series which means it features the thin body panels. It was ordered with the Touring option, bringing back some of the noise reduction, upholstery and comfort. It also has some coveted factory options such as electric windows, Recaro sports seats and the highly sought-after limited slip differential. Finished in ‘light yellow’ with black leather interior, it stands out like no other on the road and makes its mark wherever it goes.
