Model history
In 1983, the sports car manufacturer Porsche presented a further development of its 911 series at the IAA, which again bore the pleasant-sounding name Carrera and, unlike the last namesake, which drew its power from a 3.0-liter displacement, the new 911 Carrera had a 3.2-liter displacement. In the last model year (1989) of the G-model era, Porsche brought out a limited-edition "25 Years of 911" anniversary model of the 911 Carrera alongside the Speedster models. This special model was characterized above all by rims painted in the same color as the car and special colors in the exterior and interior.
