General information about the vehicle:
A Porsche 911 G model in the Targa variant can now be auctioned here, which was built in 1986 and, according to the seller, has a total of more than 7 owners. This Porsche 911 3.2 with the VIN WP0ZZZ91ZGS161809 was first delivered in the USA, then came to Japan over the years and was finally imported to Germany via the Netherlands. The seller cannot make any precise statements about the history, as unfortunately there is no longer a checkbook for the Porsche – but the matching numbers are assumed. TÜV has the 911 until May 2024, and it already has an H-approval.
Exterior colour/paint/body:
In 2019, a complete exterior painting of this Porsche 911 3.2 Targa body took place: The Zuffenhausen sports car was painted in "GT Silver Metallic" and in the course of this all seals were renewed. An accident-free in the current possession can be confirmed by the seller. All add-on parts on the vehicle are in a complete and well-preserved condition and missing parts on the exterior can apparently not be identified. A clean condition can be seen on the Targa roof. Modifications deviating from the original condition are not to be mentioned.
Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:
Michelin tires ensure road contact – according to the current owner, the tires are in 50-70% condition. The original Porsche Fuchs rims with black painted rim star ensure the further visual appearance of this 911 3.2 Targa. The seller attests the condition of the brakes of 70-90% and he is not aware of any inconsistencies in the area of the chassis.
Interior:
The interior of this Targa is in classic black: Although there are a few signs of wear and tear in the interior, for example in the area of the driver's side bolsters of the leather seat or on the 4-spoke leather steering wheel, overall the interior is in good condition considering the age of the vehicle good state of preservation. The equipment of this Porsche 911 Targa includes electric windows, central locking and a Blaupunkt cassette radio. In order to get a detailed overview of the condition of the interior and its equipment features, we refer to the meaningful series of pictures and the videos for this 911 G model.
Mileage:
49,650 kilometers can be read off the 6-digit speedometer of this Porsche – the history of the car can no longer be traced exactly after consultation with the seller. All instruments and displays in the interior are fully functional.
engine
In 2019, the 3.2-liter, 207 hp six-cylinder boxer engine was completely overhauled by the company Elevenclassics (for €24,000): the air-cooled unit now runs correspondingly clean. The power transmission takes over a 5-speed manual transmission. The last service work took place in May 2022.
underbody:
The current owner of the sports car indicates the condition of the underbody as already welded and now rust-free. It is worth mentioning that since 2019 around €40,000 (invoices from Elevenclassics available) plus new paintwork have flowed into the Porsche 911 3.2 Targa from 1986 and this G-model is now in a correspondingly clean technical and optical condition and only more waiting for the next exit.
