In 1988, Porsche introduced the 911 Carrera 3.2 Jubillé (also called the Anniversary Edition) to celebrate the 250,000th 911. Porsche built just 875 of this anniversary 911, which was introduced at the 1963 Frankfurt Motor Show.
As with other special models of the era, the special improvements were almost entirely cosmetic. In this case, that meant special exterior and interior colors: Diamond Blue Metallic for the exterior, with color-coordinated Fuchs wheels, and Silver Blue Metallic on the interior (the seller calls it Diamond Blue on the interior too, although I've always called it Silver Blue). It's an attractive combination that's quite elegant for this type of vehicle.
Of the 875 units produced, only 300 were imported to the USA (120 coupes, 100 convertibles and 80 targas), 250 were sold in Germany, 50 went to the UK and the rest to other countries.
