The vehicle in detail

The “G” types, as they’re more commonly known, are a benchmark in the Porsche range. As well as being a legendary 911, they’re renowned for their reliability and comfort, but the German manufacturer didn’t forget to give them a sporty engine, and the sound of this fat 6 is magnificent.

The G50 gearbox is an evolution of the 915 gearbox, with modified ratios and a hydraulic clutch for easier shifting.
