According to the Porsche birth certificate, this example was delivered in Verona on March 27, 1974, and, as the documents show, had two previous owners in Italy. In 2014, the vehicle was then transferred to a lawyer in southern Germany.
A perfectionist, expert, and enthusiast alike, purchased the car in excellent condition with no discernible previous damage and subjected his dream car to a restoration. The original onboard tool kit, the service booklet from 1976, and, among other things, the original rims from the month and year of manufacture were all carefully preserved for their originality and authenticity.
Carefully and step by step documented in pictures and writing, he commissioned this vehicle according to the principle "only the best is good enough" and had it built exclusively in Bavarian specialist workshops over several years from 2020 to 2024.
What makes this car special is that the decision was made to preserve the original "matching numbers" engine because there was a unique opportunity to obtain an original Porsche 2.7 Carrera RS engine with the type designation 911/81. Porsche briefly reissued the aluminum casings in a small series and the last one available for this car was able to be purchased.
In collaboration with a renowned engine builder and restoration specialist, this new engine was installed and tuned. All work was carried out under strict requirements of originality and quality. The performance diagram confirms the full power of the 209 hp unit.
In immaculate condition, the car was given a grade of 1(-) and has since been preserved in a dry garage in southern Germany and kept in a collection. The result is a Porsche 911 2.7 Carrera that is second to none.
Even with the paintwork, care was taken to get as close as possible to the factory paint finish. The paint values we measured mostly range between 160-300 micrometers.
A complete, illustrated documentation of the restoration process and all invoices, including the engine installation, are available.
The "Carrera": A driving piece of automotive history and a special opportunity to acquire one in this condition. Consistently sporty, this model promises pure motorsport, yet its understated appearance makes it pure understatement.
For connoisseurs who appreciate the subtle luxury of a roadworthy, yet comfortable car with racing genes, this is the ultimate fulfillment of their collecting passion.
Simply run in by the engine builder and full performance confirmed on the test bench. Otherwise, the owner has driven the vehicle less than 50 km since completion. A full inspection including a vehicle inspection certificate and a valuation report have already been completed. The current Porsche certificate confirms its originality and condition. The car is roadworthy and fully operational.
If you're looking for the top model, the 2.7 Carrera, in the classic color combination with the legendary technology of the 2.7 RS without compromise, where many parts, such as the original engine, are new and yet attention has been paid to originality in every detail, then this is the right choice. Because the 2.7 Carrera is still an insider tip for true aficionados in terms of value development and price/performance ratio, especially compared to its predecessor, the 2.7 RS from 1973.
You will receive this inspected vehicle from us with a 12-month warranty, a current general inspection, and an insurance report upon request. We offer additional services such as transport, classic car insurance, protective foiling, and acquisition through leasing or financing. Please feel free to contact us.
