The gearbox and engine are not matching numbers, but the current engine has the AT mark which indicates that it was replaced in a Porsche garage (standard exchange). The car does not have a service book and there have been a few maintenance invoices since the beginning of the 2000s. It does not show any traces of corrosion or accidents, the car has some bodywork defects. Mileage is not certified.
Porsche presented the legendary 911 2.7 Carrera RS at the Paris Motor Show in 1972. Discontinued in 1973 after enormous success, it was replaced by the Carrera 2.7 Type G, also available in this rare Targa version. The 2.7L flat 6 taken from the Carrera RS still develops 210 hp. Coupled with the 5-speed manual gearbox, the car is propelled to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds for a maximum speed set at 149 mph. Our car was tested at Crubilé Sport and it delivers its power well.
