Porsche 3.2 Carrera
In 1984 Porsche introduced the 911 3.2 Carrera, the first 911 to feature the iconic Carrera badge as standard. Due to advances in engine reliability this car was unique in its ability to be used every day, something that couldn’t be said by most of its rivals at the time. The new 3.2 litre engine also meant that the 911 could now effortlessly exceed 150mph, meaning owners could go on long journeys or tour with their cars while still being comfortable, an accolade which still stands.
The 911 Carrera `Sport` featured front and rear spoilers, 16 inch Fuchs wheels, Bilstein shock absorbers and electric sports seats as standard, whilst later variants featured the much stronger G50 gearbox.
This example is a genuine UK Sport model and being an 89 model is the final evolution of the 3.2 Carrera.
Finished in the classic colour scheme of guard’s red with Linen leather interior, it was supplied new on 08.03.1989 through Heddell & Deeks Official Porsche centre and still has all the original tools, tool roll and original book pack together with matching service book.
In every other respect, aside from a recent Becker head unit, this 911 remains in the same specification as it left the factory.
