By using carbon components, we have not only added modern components to the authentic effect, but also achieved a weight saving of over 100 kilograms. Contemporary lightweight construction that is very noticeable in the vehicle's handling and consumption.
The old wheel reinvented.
No compromises in appearance, but as modern, safe and powerful as possible. This also applies to tires and rims. Here, as with many other features, we are open to your wishes. With the Classic, we use a three-part wheel in a classic design as standard.

Ergonomic Recaro seats ensure maximum comfort on your trips into the good old days, and should you ever want to hear something other than the melody of the 300 hp engine – the speakers of the high-performance sound system blend discreetly into the interior ensemble.
Cockpit for time travel.
In the area around the steering wheel in the KAEGE RETRO, every movement becomes a sensual experience: The highest quality workmanship, optical accents and tactile finesse turn every kilometer into a journey of pleasure: A leather steering wheel that flatters your hand, classically interpreted gauges, high-end radio navigation system in a vintage look and a dashboard for a consistent interior design. With airbag, of course.

Good style continues under the hood of the KAEGE RETRO: The trunk is also high-quality and sophisticated and designed entirely according to your wishes. As with the classic, it offers space for light luggage.

Technology
Air-cooled to perfection.
The KAEGE RETRO CLASSIC uses a completely revised engine from the 911 – and thus the best air-cooled series technology that has ever been installed in Swabia. Finely dismantled, tested, finely balanced and reassembled, the unit looks extremely refined, runs smoothly and is stable.
Through careful fine-tuning, we have been able to increase the power from 3.6 liters of displacement to 300 hp and more. Classic 911 feeling. Thanks to the hydraulic tappets installed, the RETRO is very low-maintenance – but thanks to its OBD capability, it can be easily handled by any Porsche dealer.
Consistently KW.
It's a matter of honor that we also install the proven KW chassis in this "flagship project" from KAEGE. Comfort, damping behavior and sportiness are unmatched in the chassis of this manufacturer – and also suit the Kaege RETRO well.
Powerful impulses with ease.
Saving weight with reliable performance – this premise also applied when selecting the battery. For this reason, we have again opted for a Liteblox lithium battery. A real lightweight made in Germany, tried and tested and race-tested.
Safety & comfort
Innovative luminosity.
A question of safety: When it comes to headlights, the "good old days" feel much further back than with other components. For us, that's reason enough to sell our own LED headlights in the KAEGE RETRO.
They fit in perfectly with the visual look, but are actually decades ahead of their predecessor in terms of economy, brightness and durability.

We were particularly happy about some of the blessings of modern times: In contrast to the F model, this one already had air conditioning as standard. Completely overhauled, it now ensures, alongside the optional sunroof, that every enjoyable drive in the RETRO is not only exciting, but also provides the optimum temperature.
