Technology
Air-cooled to perfection.
The KAEGE RETRO CLASSIC uses a completely revised machine from the 911 – and therefore the best air-cooled series technology ever installed in the Swabian region. Finely disassembled, tested, finely balanced and reassembled, the unit looks extremely cultivated, smooth-running and stable.
Through careful fine-tuning, we were able to increase the performance from a displacement of 3.6 liters to 300 hp and more. Classic 911 feeling. Thanks to the built-in hydraulic lifters, the RETRO is very low-maintenance – but thanks to its OBD capability, it can be easily handled by any Porsche dealer.

It is a matter of honor that we also install the tried and tested KW chassis in this "lighthouse project" from KAEGE. The comfort, damping behavior and sportiness of this manufacturer's chassis are unsurpassed – and also suit the Kaege RETRO.

Saving weight with reliable performance – this premise also applied when selecting the battery. For this reason, we have again opted for a Liteblox lithium battery. A real lightweight made in Germany, tried and tested in racing.

A question of safety: When it comes to headlights, “the good old days” feel like they are much longer in the past than with other components. Reason enough for us to sell our LED headlights from our own production in the KAEGE RETRO.
