302811 was completed November 22, 1965 and sold new at Deet Eichel VW of Modesto, California in Sand Beige paint over Black Leatherette upholstery, equipped with a Webasto heater and Phoenix tires. Several early notations of services performed are recorded on the vehicle’s Kardex, with Porsche Car Pacific, Burlingame is recorded as the handler. It’s believed the 911 spent the majority of its life in California and Washington State.
In more recent years, 302811 received a sympathetic restoration and a thorough mechanical recommissioning of all systems, including the brakes, suspension, exhaust and intake. In 2017 the car was imported to the UK by it’s current owner and on arrival we were entrusted with the upkeep and servicing of the car.
