HCC is proud to present this 1964 Porsche 356 C finished in Signal Red over a black interior. A Reutter body car that was delivered new to Germany, it was imported to the United States in the early 1970s and has been meticulously maintained and upgraded throughout its life. It is currently powered by an upgraded period-correct (not numbers matching) engine with a fresh rebuild by air-cooled experts Zims AutoTechnik. Now displacing 1720cc, this pushes both displacement and power north of that of a 356 SC. Current paint and interior were the result of bare metal repaint and accompanying interior refresh conducted in 1986. Mechanical work and upgrades of note include dual circuit brakes, a new gas tank and fuel lines, new rubber mat, new tunnel covers and liners, newly powder-coated heat exchangers, a euro-market heater, new tires (including spare), rebuilt brakes, new distributor, and a rebuilt stereo. Service records, which convey with the car, cover its entire history since import in 1972.
This 1964 356 C is offered fully serviced with the aforementioned service records, complete books and manuals, and a clean title.
