Repainted in 2018 with new paint structure on unwelded stainless and dry ice blasted body. Up to this point, the vehicle was still mostly in its first coat of paint – there are numerous paper photos that confirm the very good condition of the body with no signs of accident damage or other repairs. Even the underbody appears like a new car after the dry ice treatment and subsequent painting. No damage, perfect welds and points.
Conversion of the entire on-board electrical system to 12V. Simultaneous technical overhaul of all components such as instruments, windshield wiper motor, clock, relays and the entire wiring harness. Simultaneous conversion to yellow fog lights from Hella and correct switch in the dashboard.
The interior is almost untouched. Only minor repairs, such as re-upholstering an armrest, were carried out over the years using the correct materials. Otherwise, the carpets, seats and other components are still in their original condition and impress with their very well-maintained condition.
Comprehensive engine overhaul in 1996 with new cylinders and pistons. Displacement expansion to 1720cc and compression ratio to 9.25:1 result in incredible response and an impressive torque curve.
