Most of the classic Porsche enthusiasts agree the 356B ‘T5’ Roadster is the most elegant open 2 seater Porsche 356 offering. The sportscar sensations of the legendary Speedster but with some extra comfort thanks to a slightly higher windscreen, wind-up side windows and luxe seats.
According to the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity this ‘Drauz’ Roadster was produced on 9th August of 1960 and immediately shipped through to the USA. It was delivered new in the absolutely stunning color combination ‘Aetna Blue’ with a red interior.
Still being matching numbers for chassis, engine and gearbox this Roadster is an absolute joy to drive ! Perfect roadholding, good power, precise steering, effective brakes (for drums!), no rattles at all ! Some clever improvements are the dual brake system, bucket seats, Nardi steering wheel and a trip master. The original seats are still present with the car.
