It is a matching number copy (matching numbers according to Porsche birth certificate) and was issued as a reference many years in a museum of historical vehicles. It owns the rare FIVA Pass reserved for vehicles with outstanding features. On 12.06.1963 the car was delivered to a Swedish Porsche dealer. In Sweden, the car remained for most of its years, where it was conditionally protected and kept dry. From this museum-like place, the car was delivered in the 2000s to its last owner in Italy and transferred from there in 2010 in the extraordinary "Swiss Collection" for rare original vehicles from 1st and 2nd hand. Currently, this collection is gradually dissolved gently. Therefore, this vehicle can be assumed to be a unique collector's item. It is one of the last remaining copies in which the body is in the original condition. Just as the car from the factory in 1963 has run off the line.
Engine and transmission run flawlessly and precisely, as the responsible maintenance company in southern Germany has specialized in air-cooled engines. In addition to ongoing service work at the beginning of 2019, extensive maintenance was carried out there on the vehicle, so that the car is in technically excellent condition.
Conclusion: Due to its age and the lack of rust prevention of its time, many 356er are more or less well restored. Many original parts are no longer available and often had to be welded due to rust or accidents, the body. This particular 356 BT6 Super 90 Cabriolet offers the opportunity to purchase one of the few remaining specimens that is still largely in their original and unrestored original condition. By careful storage in a museum, the car was preserved over the years. Existing historical documents and service intervals make this vehicle not only in the most beautiful color combination, but also in an outstanding condition, offering collectors who value originality an opportunity to call this rare specimen their own.
