Model History

Introduced in 1959, the Porsche 356 B was adapted to the requirements of the American market with the new T5 body. Bumpers and headlights were positioned higher, and the interior received lower seats and a new steering wheel. The T6 body followed in 1961, featuring larger windows, two engine ventilation grilles, and a side fuel cap in the fender. These updates improved both the design and practicality of the 356 B. The 356 Hardtop Coupé represents a particularly rare body style of the 356 B, which was only produced by Karmann for a short period.
