This extraordinary Porsche 356 was delivered on November 15th, 1958 as a 1959 model T2 via the Porsche agency Raffay & Co in Hamburg. Vehicles from the T2 series are particularly sought-after because they represent the last expansion stage of the extremely elegant A-model and have undergone considerable technical optimization compared to the T1 series, which immensely improves driving pleasure.
From the factory the car was aquamarine blue with brown leatherette, today it is ivory with brown leather. According to the Porsche delivery confirmation, it was fitted ex works with Conti-Record tires on chrome-plated perforated disc wheels and an engine output of 75 hp.

On April 9, 1987, the Porsche was registered in the name of Jerry Watkins in San Diego (California).
On January 2, 1988, Luis Gonzales, also a San Diego resident, purchased the car.
On January 8, 1999, Luis Gonzales sold his Porsche to a California dealer.
On January 11, 1999, the current owner from the Freiburg area bought the car from this Californian dealer through our mediation and imported it to Germany.
Customs clearance was carried out on March 3, 1999.
On May 6, 1999 a registration document was issued, on May 14, 1999 the car was registered to the current owner.
Since it was imported to Germany, the Porsche has only been repaired and maintained by well-known specialist workshops. In 1999, a small amount of bodywork and technical work was carried out for the TÜV approval.
In 2000, the engine and transmission were repaired and the speedometer was converted from miles to kilometers. Both jobs were carried out by our partner companies.
Since its time in Germany, the Porsche has driven an average of 600-700 kilometers a year, around 15,000 kilometers in total. In addition to technical repairs such as overhauling the steering knuckles, a contemporary Blaupunkt radio with Hirschmann antenna was installed and regular maintenance work was carried out.
