Pennewitz decided to produce an entire series. He set up a workshop in his 120 year old farmhouse in Ludersfeld Germany. The only problem was that before he could start production, Porsche licenses were needed to continue this. The licensing department of Porsche wanted to see not one drivable copy within three weeks, but two. And why? “To make sure that Bernd could really build what he claimed and wasn’t just a dreamer. But as soon as Bernd presented his little Spyder in Stuttgart, the licensing contract was a foregone conclusion. He didn’t even have to unload the second little Spyder.

Pennewitz eventually had to sell his real Porsche 356 spyder to finance the start-up.
