The further development of the Type 911 (up to model year 1988) to the Type 964 can be described as a quantum leap.

Both types have the revised floor assembly with McPherson struts at the front, adjustable coil springs at the rear, ABS, power steering, air conditioning, airbag and brake booster. No lockdowns.
The built-in technology is particularly suitable for unregulated, pure driving pleasure. The driving pleasure is multiplied by our modification to the body, exhaust system, chassis tuning and many assemblies as well as the increase in engine performance.
The 964 C2 with only rear-wheel drive is around 100 kg lighter. Our recommendation: The 964 C4 with all-wheel drive offers an even greater driving experience in the curves.
Our carbon F-model design is also suitable as a basis for the 993.
However, we are of the opinion that the rear axle developed and installed for the 993 destroys too much driving pleasure.
