Offered as requiring engine rebuild to complete.

This matching numbers 911S was imported from the US at the end of last year. Its a completely rust free, very straight car with no sign of any past accident damage. The car has recently undergone basic recommissioning, including overhauling the brakes, replacing fuel lines, fuel pump & cleaning the fuel system. The car has had a full service, some wiring has been tidied up, new battery fitted, the lights have been changed to Euro spec & the rear lights have also been swapped for UK compliant lenses ready for MOT.  After this work was completed it became evident that when under load the engine is suffering from a slight knock, there is also a minor oil leak which looks like its coming from the rear main seal. With this in mind and due to the lack of history, the car will now be sold on as a project with an engine rebuild being recommended. Once this is done it will be a lovely car. The paint work could be improved, mainly due to small stone chips to the front end. The interior is all original and in lovely condition throughout. Mechanically the rest of the car is in good health so all in all an easy project which will result in a lovely classic 2.7 911.
