In 2016 Porsche presented the 911 (991) R, a special model limited to 991 units. This 500 HP strong 911 was only available with manual transmission.  It does not have a fixed but an extendable rear wing and is therefore 44 mm wider than the 911 Carrera according to the factory’s specifications. Thus the R lies even better on the road.

The engine is essentially identical to that of the 911 GT3 RS and the driving characteristics have been adapted to the manually operated manual gearbox.  Compared to the production models, the sound of the Rs is also significantly louder, as this model is intended to stand less for comfort and more for sportiness.

Porsche 911 R – Price

The new purchase price at Porsche was 189,544 Euro including VAT, but all 991 cars had already been sold before construction began. Currently, the prices for models offered for sale are around 300,000 to 500,000 Euros (as of October 2018).
