In November 1997, the first owner sent the car back to the Porsche plant in Stuttgart to have the 450 PS components of the GT 2 from the 1998 / Series 2 model and Xenon lights installed. When driving from Switzerland to the Stuttgart plant, the car unfortunately suffered a puncture on the rear right and was subsequently damaged on the motorway near Baden Baden. This journey could be continued later and the car was brought to Porsche as planned, where the body damage was repaired and, as planned, the 450 hp increase in performance and xenon lights were installed. In January / February 1998 the vehicle was returned to the first owner and stayed with him for 2 years.
The GT 2 was then sold to a gentleman from the Geneva / Lausanne region and remained there as part of a collection until we bought it in 2020.
The vehicle is very well documented and, in addition to the original servicing booklet, also has the Swiss emission sheet, so the mileage can be traced extremely well on both documents. The car includes all logbooks, all keys, the key code card, an assessment report by Jürgen Barth from 2017, a current report by DERKA is currently being prepared. There are also some service invoices from 2018, correspondence between the first owner and the Porsche plant from 1997/1998. A Porsche “delivery certificate” is also available.
The current mileage is 21,992 km.
The vehicle is on new tires and has just been completely refurbished in detail.
The condition is very good and the car runs great.
The engine and transmission are, of course, "matching numbers"
For export to a "THIRD COUNTRY" the GT 2 net can be purchased (excluding VAT) or in the FRG / EUROPE as § 25 A (taxes paid in the EU)
Here is the chance to buy a very good and beautiful 993 GT 2 at an attractive price.
