Our 944 S2 first came onto the road in 1990 and has been carefully maintained since then (this can be seen from the current condition), unfortunately we have no evidence of this.
The 944 S2 was the second expansion stage of the 944 series, with a displacement of 3 liters and a four-valve cylinder head, its engine had the largest displacement of an in- line four-cylinder in a production car (with a torque of 280 Nm at 4000 / min) and 155 kW at the time of the premiere (211 hp) at 5800 rpm.
In addition to the typical folding headlights, the 944iger also offers the transaxle design, in which the transmission is not mounted on the engine but on the rear axle. This allowed the Porsche developers an almost perfect weight distribution.
Our 944iger is in a very good condition, the underbody, the wheel arches, the B-pillar, the inner fenders are all rust-free (usual places on the 944iger model).
The engine runs very quietly and brings its power to the road.
Since we have renewed the brakes (pads and discs), deceleration is also guaranteed.
The interior is first class, there is no wear and tear on the interior.
The original Blaupunktradio model Wiesbaden RCM 85 runs without complaint, even the 80s cassettes that have been removed can be played again.
