A timeless design, contemporary interpretation. The unmistakable silhouette of the 911 is formed by its iconic fly-line. Compared to the air-cooled 993, this 996 offered more comfort, power [301hp], safety systems [eight airbags and Traction Control] and yet for a relatively limited, stable investment. All the more so since this example from April 1998 has a complete maintenance history and is in very good, damage-free and original condition, also given the low mileage. Popular features such as the sliding and tilting roof, xenon headlights with white indicators all around, parking sensors and electrically adjustable comfort seats with heating, lumbar support and memory are present.
The signature comes into its own with the Arktissilber metallic. Thanks to a recent detailing and restored 18″ GT3 rims, the whole looks almost spotless. The original black Porsche stickers accentuate the lines of the sports car. The original rear lights and the PCM infotainment system are included. Optionally, we can also deliver the car on the original 17″ Carrera rims. In the black Raff leather interior we find only high-quality materials and a luxurious finish with stitching and perforation on the seats. The whole feels very well cared for, smells fresh and has remained exceptionally well conditioned over the past 26.5 years. Everything functions properly.
This Porsche has a new price of € 117,351 and gained its first driving experience from Brussels, Belgium. The first owner was a founder or visionary in business aviation. Afterwards, two Belgian owners followed, after which the car was imported into the Netherlands at the beginning of 2022. Here the car had one owner, who recently upgraded to a 997. He had the Kenwood infotainment installed with, among other things, touchscreen, Bluetooth telephone, Apple CarPlay, DAB radio and USB input.
Dealer maintenance was stamped at 1,400km [2-7-1998], 5,194km [18-11-1999], 8,103km [19-2-2001], 10,343km [25-2-2002], 16,464km [20-5-2003], 29,853km [11-10-2004], [20-10-2005], 63,951km [27-10-2006], 72,039km [16-10-2007], 76,987km [20-10-2008], 84,950km [28-10-2009], 101,902km [3-9-2010] and 119,769km [9-5-2011]. Afterwards, maintenance was carried out by specialists, of which HooG Selections in Katwijk had the brake discs and pads all around, various exhaust parts, spark plugs and coils replaced in March 2022. When the last owner bought it in December 2022 with 147,561 km, a maintenance service including air conditioning service was carried out and the horn and ignition lock were replaced.
In January 2023, the automatic transmission was flushed and the filters, gaskets and bolts were replaced. The MOT is valid until December 16, 2024, but will be renewed before delivery. Both keys and the complete documentation are present. Under the heading ‘documents’ you will find detailed photos of the available invoices, booklets, etc. The car is free of creaks, leaks or other defects. The engine sounds silky smooth [without smoke development] even when starting cold and the gearbox shifts smoothly. The air conditioning cools down quickly. The mounted Bridgestone Potenza summer tires with N3 coding date from 2017 and have at least 80% tread all around, without drought cracks. The past is accident-free.
