In 2011, Marcus bought this car from a gentleman in Sweden who had previously imported it from the USA. 155,000 km on the clock, the engine was leaking and the paint had faded, but otherwise it was rock solid. In short – the perfect basis for Marcus to go at it on this 4S in his annoyingly pedantic way. It was completely painted in the original color, I overhauled the engine, an exhaust system by Dieter Weiss was installed, it got a new interior, the entire suspension and the brake system were rebuilt, Bilstein PSS10 were installed and of course there were new wheels too. Eleven years and a good 12,000 km have passed since it was completed. And as you would expect, Marcus has long since devoted himself to new projects with more on the horizon and he needs space in the garage for them.
The car comes with a folder in which the rebuild (and thus Marcus’ OCD) is documented in detail and another that documents the history of the car from purchase when new (including window stickers) up to 2012 in just as much detail.
