The new Porsche 992.2 Carrera combines the classic 911 DNA of a boxer 6-cylinder in the rear with modern innovations. The improvements in design, engine performance and technology make it the perfect further development. Whether on the race track or in everyday life, the new 992.2 delivers the final touches to the unsurpassed Porsche 911 Carrera sports car in every respect. The visual innovations and the significantly more modern infotainment system are in the foreground at the presentation of the facelift. Surprisingly little was revealed about the improved drive, although there is no need to hold back here. This time, the Carrera is powered by the turbochargers from the 992.1 Carrera GTS and also receives the intercoolers from the 992.1 Turbo.
On the one hand, what this means for performance does not seem particularly complex, but on the other hand, you do wonder how these modifications are actually noticeable, because that is definitely what they are! When accelerating, a much more vehement forward pull can now be felt that does not let up into the upper rev range. In conjunction with the visual innovations such as the bumpers, which are now dynamic thanks to hidden sensors and technology, the 992.2 is the most sophisticated 911 Carrera ever.
The Porsche 992.2 Carrera facelift model we are offering is a new vehicle in the historic Slate Grey Neo paintwork, which became famous worldwide through the 1970 film "Le Mans" by Steve McQueen. In the interior, the cool, timeless and at the same time sporty line is continued by a leather interior in bi-color black and lime beige. The 21-inch Carrera S wheels, painted in high-gloss black and polished, and the sports exhaust system with black tailpipe trims form a unit and complement the sporty appearance of the car. An electric glass sunroof provides the necessary supply of fresh air on the first days of spring, and the Sport Chrono Package including Sport Plus mode gives the car an extra boost in power and performance at the touch of a button. An additionally ordered adaptive cruise control, the LED main headlights including Matrix Beam and the Surround View System including active parking assistance ensure the necessary comfort on longer journeys or in the city. The configuration in the new Porsche 992.2 Carrera is rounded off by a BOSE surround sound system.
