Porsche 996 Carrera

Porsche 996 Carrera

Coupé, 1998

Highlights

  • Major engine overhaul (at 104,000 km)
  • Chassis and axle components new
  • Elaborate saddlery work in Alcantara

After around 5 years, I am selling my very extensively reworked Porsche Carrera 2. This Porsche is a driving machine thanks to the modifications and use of new parts and is absolutely reliable in everyday life. For me, the Porsche was a second vehicle, but it was driven regularly and properly. This Porsche impresses with its driving stability and pulling power, and with the Tiptronic in manual mode (switch on the steering wheel), gear shifting is also noticeably fun. This is where the gearbox flush, the refill and the subsequent optimized new learning are clearly evident. Anyone who wants to drive a largely mechanical 911 naturally aspirated car from the 1st series, which has been technically brought to a new level, in which the engine-specific weak points have been permanently eliminated and which is absolutely suitable for everyday use and has track potential, must buy this Porsche. Get in and drive off. In the next few years, this will definitely only replace normal wear and tear through use. I am only parting with my unique Porsche because I want to buy a GT vehicle.
