Porsche 911 S

Porsche 911 S

Coupé, 1974

Highlights

  • German model
  • olive green 414
  • one of the first G-models

The Porsche was delivered in Germany in 1974, then registered in Sweden and came back to Germany in 2019. The previous owner then registered it in Germany (see Porsche certificate in the photos) and drove it until October 2020. Then I bought it to restore. Narrow model with sunroof, vent windows, converted to manual transmission. (915 gearbox/registered) During the restoration, what could be saved was saved and everything else was replaced with new parts (OEM or original Porsche). Among other things, we cleaned the headliner, which was completely crack-free, and reinstalled it with the patina that was still there. The car was completely fitted with anti-drum mats. All locks were re-galvanized by a specialist company in an immersion bath. Sports seats are also installed (covered in original Porsche leather and seat center panels in Pepita. The original seats are present.

The vehicle in detail

The car was completely dismantled, welded where necessary, documentation available. All seals, brakes, brake lines, shock absorbers, etc. were replaced. All invoices are available. The 911 was converted to manual transmission (shifts very precisely and the gearbox is registered). The engine is no longer matching and it is only the 150 HP engine (although it is very powerful – new seals/spark plugs/ignition cables installed. New engine wiring harness. I had the ignition completely overhauled (invoice available) etc. All in all an honest 911 that needs some work. (The engine should definitely be checked again. Someone worked with liquid metal on the right housing/it is leaking. The horn still needs to be connected, the speedometer is currently not working (should be the wiring, it worked before). The Porsche drives, brakes, shifts, etc. The sunroof is now in, but still needs to be adjusted correctly. (Replace cables if necessary) I just don't have the time to do all of that. The 911 has been standing unused in the corner for almost a year. The price is around €10,000-15,000 under the usual market prices for early German G models. There is still credit left for the engine, etc. Absolutely rare color!!

Spare parts etc. available

If you are looking for a collector's item with matching numbers and everything in its original condition, you have come to the wrong place. However, if you want to drive a rare 911 in an even rarer color combination and interior at a fair price, you should take a look at the 911.
