Execution.
This Spyder is painted in black and has a black fabric roof. The unique 20-inch rims of the 718 Spyder are in silky black and create a nice contrast with the yellow brake calipers of the ceramic brakes. At the rear we see the typical Spyder diffuser and the 2 black exhaust pipes of the sports exhaust system specially developed for the Spyder. The sports exhaust pipes are further apart and produce an unfiltered sound that often silences the driver 🙂
At the rear we see a newly designed rear diffuser. This generates a very fast airflow and contributes significantly to reducing the overall lift by 50%. What is also noticeable is the GTS badge in yellow, the optional 718 Spyder sports seats with yellow contrast stitching and the extensive leather package. The motor.
The 4.0-liter boxer engine first saw the light of day in the exclusive Cayman GT4 and was adopted unchanged in the Boxster Spyder. This six-cylinder naturally aspirated engine produces 420 hp, the maximum torque of 420 Nm is reached between 5,000 and 6,500 rpm. The maximum engine speed is 7,800 rpm. With PDK, the acceleration time from 0 to 100 is reduced to 3.9 seconds (manual in 4.4 seconds), while the top speed reaches 300 km/h (manual 301 km/h).
PDK.
The gear ratio remains the same as the manual gearbox, but gears 1-5 are shorter. This shorter gear ratio works wonders, especially in gears 2, 3 and 4. The car handles much better in corners and inspires even more confidence, simply because you can now concentrate fully on the exit.
Technology.
In addition to the greatly improved aerodynamics / increased downforce, the front suspension has been replaced by that of the 911 GT3, and the rear suspension is also largely the same as that of the 911 GT3. The adjustable chassis settings (toe-in, camber, stabilizer) allow for considerable suspension travel, while adaptive dampers keep the body stable. This even ensures plenty of suspension comfort, despite the standard 20-inch wheels. The Spyder is therefore also suitable for leisurely drives where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery with the roof down. This feature is not known to everyone.
Options.

Origin and maintenance .
This immaculately maintained Spyder has very low mileage and is in mint condition. The car is damage free and was last serviced in 2023. The interior still smells new and fresh and is undamaged. All maintenance is complete and noted in the service booklet. Porsche Approved until 2025.
