It is still the case, but it was time to grant some little nobility to the little brother Cayman by offering him this version R. After six years of career, he deserved it.
With the Cayman R, Porsche serves a raw, bare-bones version of its mid-engined coupe, taking comfort to the background. 55 kg lost by the use of aluminum doors, lightened wheels and a few grams grappling here and there in the cabin. The door handles are replaced by straps, the instrumentation loses its upper “cap”, and two carbon tubs (-12 kg) reach out to you.
The proposed car has been delivered new in germany. It’s a third hand, always followed in the network. It is in perfect state of presentation, and is in first integral painting. It is mechanical version, much more fun than the PDK on this car.
This Cayman R has always been under Porsche Approved warranty.
