Completed at Porsche during September of 1986 as a 1987 model-year car, this spectacular Carrera 3.2 Coupe was finished just as it appears today, painted in a rare shade called Granite Green Metallic and finished with a Grey Green interior. Fitted with desirable optional extras including sunroof and central locking, the new Carrera featured the much-improved Getrag G50 5-speed manual transaxle.
Sold new in Germany the Carrera remained in its home country until 2004, when it was acquired by the a French owner, who kept it for the next 14 years. This is all proven by the documents on file. After two years in Belgium it moved back to France when in 2018 it was bought by its current owner. He has now decided to sell the car as he’s looking to acquire one of his all time dream cars.
Today less than 135,000 kilometers are recorded on the odometer and documented by the invoices and ‘Wartung’ manuel. Inside and out, the Porsche is very true to original and impeccably well-preserved with very light signs of use. The factory-applied VIN decal remain intact in the hood along with other factory decals and ID plates. The car drives incredibly well, as would be expected from a well-serviced and maintained low-mileage Porsche.
This matching example – of course – still has the factory undercarriage wax protection visible. The original carpet is in perfect condition and two black floormats were added to keep it protected. Our paint measurements show a full respray with no signs of body fillers nor is there an accident repair known or visible. Paint gloss and depth is even throughout.
This is rare one as there are only 238 models in Granite Green Metallic with sunroof according to Porsche. Offered with the original owner’s manuals in pouch, Blaupunkt information folders, Porsche Service & Touring Pass, space saver spare, jack and tool roll, this is really a well preserved 911 Carrera 3.2-Liter cars not to be missed!
The car currently has French registration.
