Model history
- The Porsche 944 S2 Cabrio was presented for the first time in 1989 at the IAA in Frankfurt am Main. Series production began less later, at the beginning of 1990. The convertible was equipped with a 2.5 four-cylinder engine that, in combination with a manual transmission, produced 211 hp. Only around 7,000 of them were produced until 1992, making the vehicle a highlight for collectors and enthusiasts.
