1957 PORSCHE 356 A SPEEDSTER

A beautiful and sought-after classic open-top Porsche, finished in a handsome all-black colour combination.

This 356 A Speedster has been previously restored and is reported to remain in very good order.
The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity shows that the car was sold new via Autohaus Krauss in Nuremberg, Germany. It also spent time in the US, and was later imported into the UK, where it is now offered for sale by the trade after having three keepers here.
This example is finished in black with a co-ordinating black removable hood, accented by polished metal and chrome exterior trims.

Inside, the seats and door cards are upholstered in black vinyl, while there is a body-coloured dashboard panel.
It rides on a set of 15-inch wheels with chrome covers and Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres.

The specification includes a removable roof with soft side windows as well as a set of removable side windows.
The car is accompanied by some service history, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, the spare wheel, tool roll, and a comprehensive detail of its restoration.

This car has also benefitted from a fresh mechanical recommissioning and major service at marque specialist JAZ Porsche at the cost of £3,000.

This is a handsome example of the coveted Porsche 356 A Speedster, developed by the marque after influence from US-based Porsche importer Max Hoffman.
