This 1988 Porsche Carrera Cabriolet, refinished in classic Silver, with a black fabric top, and grey leather interior, combines old school 911 charm with the 3.2L Carrera’s legendary dependability and style. Its elegant silver exterior is complemented by staggered 16” Riken Raptor high-performance tires mounted on black Fuch alloy wheels, fog lights integrated into the lower front fascia, dual color-matched rear view mirrors, 5 MPH impact-resistant bumpers with rear black rubber bumperettes, rubber side trim above the rockers, black door handles, and a red reflective panel with Porsche script spanning the rear taillights.

The interior features power-adjustable, Draped Leather Seats with distinctive black piping, optional automatic speed control, a carbon-fiber shift knob, an anti-theft alarm, and a Blaupunkt New Orleans Hi-Fi AM/FM/CD audio system with multiple speakers. Windows and side mirrors are electrically operated.

This Carrera is powered by a flat-six, air-cooled 3.2L engine that produces up to 217 HP at 5900 RPM, and 195 lbs.-ft torque at 4800 RPM. With its 5-speed manual transmission directing power to the rear wheels, journalists achieved 0-60 times in less than six seconds with top speeds in excess of 150 MPH. “This 911 offers sensations no car can or ever will match.” R&T.
